Job Opportunity: ETO Avit (Electrician Technical Officer) for a +100m Private Yacht

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced ETO Avit to join the technical team aboard a luxurious +100m private yacht. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, particularly in the field of avionics and electrical maintenance for yacht systems.

Key Responsibilities:

– Oversee and maintain the electrical systems aboard the yacht, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.

– Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment, including avionics, power generation systems, and general yacht electrical infrastructure.

– Provide technical support and advice to the captain and crew on all electrical matters.

– Ensure that all electrical systems meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.

– Work alongside the technical team to carry out any necessary repairs and maintenance.

– Monitor the yacht’s battery systems, power grids, and charging systems to ensure they are fully operational.

– Assist with the management of electrical supplies and equipment onboard.

Requirements:

– Proven experience as an ETO (Electrical Technical Officer) or in a similar role, ideally on large yachts.

– Extensive knowledge of yacht electrical systems, avionics, and electrical troubleshooting.

– STCW certification and relevant engineering qualifications.

– Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

– Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.

– Excellent communication skills; fluency in English is required.
